The stripers played a bait and switch on the feeding times this week. July 4th and 5th the bite was great in the morning. After that, the afternoons lit up. We had reports of multiple blitzes in Salem and in Lynn Harbor. The bite seemed to be concentrated around 5-7 PM each day. As far as flies, anything small and white. We also had great luck with a blue olive and chartruse flatwing. The fish all had sea lice on them migratory?? Hopefully the weather cooperates as we need to get out there and stay on this very hot afternoon bite. Here are a few pics from the forage. The svelt fellow in the orange is from Missou! Nice one Roger. The blue, Stuart Forida. Nice one Jim. and the plaid dude.. well he may be mayor soon. Great Job Jay.
Tight lines all.
